That's some going EMD. On my commute at this time of year my top speed on the hybrid is usually only around 27-28mph down a steep hill or 23mph on the flat with a good draft.

On my commute for the job I do when not at UNI I can hit 45mph there and back ;) - bugger going up the hills the other way though haha. I'll admit, I did once think of overtaking a Merc chanting "woo, yaaahh!" but realised it would be A. have been dangerous, B, Waste of time as there is another hill after it so I'd of just looked like a berk.

Shame in winter though, the way home I wouldn't dare go above 30 because it was so dark on one when I could easily have done a bit over 40.

The guy in the Merc? He did a dodgy overtake on the solid white lines a few moment before the video starts. That's Harrow College on the left, drivers love to stop there to drop people off!

I knew it, I thought I was going bonkers watching your videos, I used to travel through harrow a fair bit, navigating for a friend.

Nice riding.

I'm on a 2007 Focus Cayo at the moment. Believe it or not but you can hit 40 mph down past the speed camera if there's no cars in front of you. The cars/vans etc always have to slow for the camera so in the vids I've been on the brakes before I reach the camera. There's always tomorrow! I'm starting to thin I need to change back to a proper double chainset rather than the compact, I should be able to get another couple of mph down there.
