Can I trap foxes?

Jings, the best ours have is mealworm. But the feathery beasties can't half operate a scorched earth policy if left to their own devices.

To another point I spotted on the thread about foxes being cunning and sly - hmm, we were advised to put our chicken coop on a slab plinth with 6 inches of slab border as a fox will go right to the wire to dig but won't think to back off 6 inches to the edge of the slabs and try. Seems to be working for us so far.

I'll have to look out for the funfair coming to town for a supply of goldfish *joking*

I'll consider your suggestion - cleaning fluid or bleach? I suppose experimentation will resolve that quandary.

I doubt there would be any fall out, I've already buried the neighbours pet in our garden.

Just a thought, do you really think it a good idea to teach your daughter that the correct response to "vandalism" is sadistic revenge, violence and capital punishment?

i'm a perfect example of this, from the age of about 3-5 i've been brought up to kill and hunt by my parents, grand parents and other people i know. look how i've turned out, not exceedingly violent, very effective and good at pest control and can put food on the table without going to tesco.
there's a difference between pest control and 'sadistic revenge, violence and capital punishment' i shoot for the former and take part in shooting for a sport but not a sport where you shoot WILD animals
