Hi,

I would like to dream about upgrading my bikes components to a Ultegra Di2 set up with disc brakes but I can't find it for sale anywhere. Has it been released yet? If it has then any ideas where I can buy a set?

Cheers

They have launched R785 hydraulic disc brakes that are Di2 only and the hydraulic reservoir takes up the space vacated by the shifted mechanism. It's not Ultegra or Dura-Ace specific.

Other suppliers are available

I get that, and thanks. But then I have to buy the other stuff, i.e. batteries, wires, front and rear mechs etc. independently which much work out more expensive?

I was kind of hoping somebody would do a 'package' so sausages like me can buy the lot without fear of missing something and get the best value.

That Specialised looks great. I guess I'll have to wait until end of year offers come in, or maybe they bring out the 2015 range so that the current stuff drops in the usual style. I have a frame and combined handlebar/stem from China which are just brilliant, really light and very funky looking. However I have a Hope cable to disc set up which isn't as good as I would like and a set of heavy wheels which combine to spoil the frame/bars. I'd love a Di2 set up but at £1500+ it is just out of my world price wise. Must keep saving...... And then I need to address the wheels too......
