Can you see your bike from where you are sitting?

Well I voted for another building as my bikes are in the garage which is in a block which is just visible from the kitchen window.

Why wierd?

In my case, it's because I only have a flat, with no shed, and no bike store. So I have no choice. The daily use hack lives in the lobby downstairs, the other two in the flat itself - and I change which is daily use according to the season. My trike lives in a shared lock-up, across town, so that would hardly be convenient for my daily use bike, would it? Seeing as I need the bike to get to the lock up...

Many houses don't have enough back yard for a shed, or like my sister's place the garden is only accessed though the house - so if there's room, why not keep the bike indoors, if it has to come through the house anyway?

Plus, it's more secure than out in a shed. And handy if you like to do a lot of tinkering.

Only riding when you go home? Wierd! Get a cheap and cheerful hack for god's sake and keep it at the house, uninsured.

Very true, i was more thinking about keeping it in their office near their computer! Who not the hall??

As for getting a cheap bike to ride about on, I'm in training for a 50 mile ultra marathon in the Lake District, so I'm giving the regular cycling a miss for now! Just for treats.

Heading out after work tonight, so had to ditch my blue baby for a day…not happy . While commuting to work on the train it felt like I had forgotten something at home the whole time…yeah my bike.
