He used to drop them all the time, but over the years his skull has bent causing a dip for the can to sit in. He would have to be near upside down before that falls off now.

Yeah, that's why he needs someone like you and I, with experience, to critique him. That way he'll soon do a standing, as opposed to an easy seated, trackstand.
