Canaletto and Bridget Riley

Went to the Gaugin and Canaletto exhibitions, and also made it to see Ben Johnson working on his London Cityscape at the National.

The exhibitions and Ben Johnson all get a 100% recommendation, didn't get to the Bridget Riley exhibition - hunger and train times got in the way!

If you can get there before these close, and haven't been already then my advice - go and see them.

Well for anyone interested, we didn't even make the National Gallery.

Spent too long in Borough Market, then went to the photography exhibition at the National Theatre (highly recommended)

Then went to the NPG for lunch - the view is amazing and the sun came out. (Thanks Aperitif)

So we looked around the free bits of the NPG and then just wandered around in the sun.

Lovely day though.

and also made it to see Ben Johnson working on his London Cityscape at the National.

We saw his Liverpool one and were amazed by it, especially the "making of" information.
