La Gomera - because if a job's worth doing. Wonderful smooth roads, always either going up or down, looks like a miniature version of the Alps. Not for the faint-hearted! Had a wonderful walking holiday there a few years ago - walking the old shepherd paths that criss-cross the island.

I had never even heard of that island. I just found this video of 2 riders who caught the ferry from Tenerife to do a very lumpy ride over there. It looks fantastic!

Iirc you can't fly to La Gomera from the UK you have to get a ferry or get a small aircraft from another one of the canaries to get there.
