Don't own one but very much want one and if press reviews are anything to go by, it's one heck of a bike. Go to Evans, take one for a spin...

I'm still getting my head round buying it to be my primary bike and relegating my boardman carbon to a commuter/winter bike

Boardman Team Carbon rider too - love my bike but would swap for a CAAD12 in a heartbeat. Personally I prefer the look of the new 105 version...

I've got a CAAD 12 dura ace disc 2016 and it is a very nice bike. I have tinkered with it to change the wheels for fulcrum quattro carbons and put some slightly narrower bars on it.

Any questions I can help with, just shout

So how's the alloy frame feel, I had a go on a specialised roubaix a month ago at the same price point. Really responsive and felt so much quicker than my team carbon boardman (which I still love) with ultegra group set, it did however have rim brakes.

The wheel set looks ok but I kinda what some mavic cosmics on, with 28mm tyres.

I had a carbon Trek Madone 4.9 and still own a Caad10. Sometimes I'd forget which of the two I was riding, so similar was the ride experience. The Madone had an enormous downtube and I could feel how good the power transfer was going uphill. The Caad10 matched it. Supposedly the 12 is even better, so, so should be a very good bicycle!

The CAAD 12 frame rides very smoothly, much more like my carbon bike rather then my other aluminium bike.

I bought it as a lighter and faster winter / wet weather bike, but it gets the most use of all the bikes I own.

Last year I completed the double Dunwich Dynamo (224 miles) on it, complete with all sorts of bars and snacks taped to the frame in various places. The bike did well, I was a little sore in wrists, neck and backside. But that was only after 170 miles. The bike did well
