i had a look at the synapse disc before i got my defy 1, the disc brakes put me off when my daughters disc brakes locked on and basically had to strip it down to get it going again with no front brake to use on the way home

ah ok, shame about the colour choices, red would be fantastic!
yeah a carbon frame on this would be lovely and there are different colours , but not sure I can stretch the extra £600

got mine in 2011. carbon with apex though (old legs) broke up the black+white with a little bit of red (sunderland fan)..
