Cannondale Synapse 2013 or Ribble Sportive Bianco

Right narrowed my choice to these 2 bikes, but having trouble choosing love them both
Alu or Carbon hmmmm
What do you think ? any feedback appreciated

Suggested to the wife...........maybe buy both ( ouch ! that hurt ) she said two words second was off !!

I do like some of them Cannondale, but the other half has a Ribble and she is very happy with it, not a lover of shimano thou.
