Can't wait for Sunday.

I'm planning my longest ride yet on the new bike on Sunday around 25-30 miles depending which route I take and I can't wait . Forecast is quite windy though so I may find it hard going....really looking forward to it .

Enjoy. Club run on Sunday for me 70 miles. Due to work and other issues its my first club run since early December.

Enjoy - looks like it will be a really nice day- sunshine and lighter winds if a little cool. I'm hoping to go for a spin too though just a short 15 mile amble. Assuming Mrs G lets me that is - and I can put up with all the nagging when I get home! (''You've been hours...what about the shed...laundry...kitchen...garden fence...supper won't cook itself.... etc etc...'')

Looks like tomorrow is going to be nice and sunny here, so will be off for a solo 2 hour spin while my better half goes to church.

Just had a look at the weather and it looks dry so looks like I will be out for a 50 miler fancy riding up
Titsey Hill looks like it could be fun :/

Heading out in about an hour to hack up the pitch black riverside footpaths in Worcester, gets a bit scary when you reach the town centre parts because you never know where the next wine-o will pop up!

I'm going to do a new run tomorrow that google maps says is 54mls although I'm prone to getting lost on new routes.
Will probably work out about 70. Going to try my new sat nav app.

At least the weather forecast says 0% chance of precipitation. I got caught in a hail/sleet shower today. How sore is that?

Its supposed to return to typical winter weather here tomorrow dry & bright but :cold: The club is supposed to be doing 62miles, the top of my throat has started swell up if, everyone else in the family have been loaded with a cold/ cough and I think its hitting me, if so I'll have to give tomorrow a miss

Going for a trott out to Delamere forest tomorrow from my home in Chester, around 22 mile round trip and maybe do around 10 mile around the tracks, will have to put my cross tyres back on my bike first though (Merida Cyclocross 3)

Wasn't far off. total distance was 65. My handlebars moved early on and I had left without my multitool. I was reduced to riding slowly holding the stem. I saw a guy out at his garage an shouted to him to ask if he had any allen keys and he showed me what was in his hand. It was a bike multitool. I took this as a good omen. I secured them in a slightly off position though in my haste to get going.

Loads of slush and ice up in the hills though and this slowed me down and kept me sharp. Cracking day all the same.

Brilliant day out though the choice of coming back on the transpennine was a bad idea it was very mushy . Spent an hour cleaning the bike off when I got home . Very pleased with myself how comfortable the ride felt though, my riding is slowly improving .
