Capag/Shimano Chain Width

A I right in thinking that Shimano (KMC) 10sp chains are narrow enough now to fit a 10sp Campy cassette, where as old 9sp chains were incompatible or do I still need to buy a Campy specific chain?

My best bike was ordered with a Campag 10 sp groupset. Came with a KMC 10sp chain (and I'm happy with that)

I run 10spd KMC on Campagnolo - I think I'm correct in saying that the Shimano Dura Ace chain is a little too wide but someone may have tried this successfully.

Maybe I'm wrong about the speed, hence why I was asking but there was definitely a width difference, that made older campy & shimano type chains incompatible
