Some new cars like to be told they have a new battery so the computer will adjust the charging rate accordingly, but all will cwrrymout their own adaption after a few hundred miles of driving.
Provided the charger is connected to an earth point on the body, and not the negative battery terminal, there will be no problem. That way the current goes through whatever battery management module/computer that may be present and it knows what's going on.
