Passenger wing mirror is no longer adjusting electronically. A problem to sort tomorrow.

Whilst were on lights on cars....I can’t stand the latest trend of light-up badges on cars...or even the grills lit up as seen on latest BMWs
Look crap to me.

Yeah, It was £66, Bosch of same capacity was £84.

Or I could have got the puny 400CCA 40Ah for £46.
It came with 4 year warranty, which I'll probably forget where I bought it from if it fails-unlikely

I suspect it's not just Mazda but all car brands are getting like this.

I took my daughters Mini for an early oil filter change. The service guy on the desk looked perplexed that I would want an oil change so early. Hes says the oil is good for 18,000 miles between services. I said what's the oil sump capacity- just over 4 litres.

I said it's a small turbo charged engine with a tiny sump.

He was rather peeved when I ordered and collected 6 oil filters and ancillaries.

I changed my oil every 5k miles or once a year if less than 5k

Tuesday 17th

For a couple of weeks, l’ve been getting a drip onto the parcel shelf (roller blind) of my Kodiaq
On inspection, it’s the rubber boot, that protects the cables into the body
For whatever reason, one of the lugs has broken, so it couldn’t seat properly

On Sunday afternoon, as it was dry here, l put some silicone on it, to reseat
It seems to have worked (after todays rain)

Sadly l didn’t have any clear silicone, but what the heck!!

Look crap to me.

On a recently watched episode of Car SOS, with a T4 camper, they ended up with a bonnet that looked normally painted, but when a voltage was applied the 'VW' logo appeared on it
