Budget £4000.

We have 2 really b.o.r.i.n.g cars, MrsF walks to work and I ride either my cycle or m/bike, so both can go days without moving, together they probably do about 4k miles a year. I bought the 2 cars because I crashed my Cherokee Jeep & MrsF's MX5 on the same day, those were fun cars.........

I want something with "style", economy doesn't bother me, nor do residuals, nor does reliability much, nor does age, I want a car I enjoy being in. I couldn't think of any car I actually want, but then in Skipton today I saw a car and thought "That'd do". Any more suggestions?
into each other or was it a morning/afternoon thing ?

anyway, straight 6's are nice, plenty torque for hill or dale.
It was a 2x morning thing and neither crashes were my fault.

The Jeep was a straight 6 and I loved it.

Audi TT. Get a high powered one, the lower powered ones lack sufficient grunt. Suspect the Mk1 will be a future classic.

I've been looking at them a while and I only like the MK1's and only in silver. They don't have much "style" though, not in my eyes anyway, or I think I'd have bought one by now.

John Cooper works Mini Cooper?
Renaultsport Clio/Megane?
Fiat Panda 100BHP model?
Skoda VRS?
Mercedes SLK of some kind?
Honda Civic?
1.6 Citroen C2! Bloody rocket!

I personally have a 1.4 TDi Skoda fabia Scout and a 1.5 DCI Renault Megane. Both quick off the mark, frugal and can leave BMWs for dust.

Ummmm.......none of these cars have any sort of "style" that I like, I do like the Civic interior though, I want to dress up and drive, dandy about like I do on my Vespa. ^_^

A Renault Avantime would be nice, a Jaguar with chrome & wood or maybe an old W123 Merc.
