Carbon to carbon Q

With a lacquered seat-post inside what I guess is essentially a raw but smoothish seat-tube do I need to use any sort of anti-seize gloop or the like?

I put hairspray on mine to stop it slipping and I take it out if I am giving the bike a proper service to give it a clean and check it hasn't seized in situ.

Carbon assembly paste might be a good idea.

PlanetX have advised hairspray so I shall go raid the Elnett when I have a mo - thanks for your advice chaps.

as ^^^^ says, Tacx carbon paste, prevent seizure and help grip so you won't have to tighten the seat clamp bolt as tight.

Or Finish Line...but I like the little sachets that you can get from Tacx as my tube of Finish Line paste looks like it will outlast me, let alone the bike!
