I purchased an airzound from chainreactioncycles.com on the 18th August, on the 26th August £157.44 was taken fraudulently from my account via visa debit.

Now reading up these: http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=ps...gc.r_pw.&fp=36fb4e0eb8a4801a&biw=1280&bih=879

Are they still at it or what?, seems a coincidence 7-10 days after buying. They used an online virtual bank account WWW.ENTROPAY.COM to transfer the money.

Thankfully HSBC have refunded me already and blocked my card.

Anyone else had any problems?.

Indeed, I ordered some innertubes and new brake blocks a few weeks ago. Ill keep a cafeful eye on my account

Edit: Just checked. I placed my order on the 28th of August. All transactions since were mine. So far so good.

No problems with CRC orders since the reported incidents before Easter, which CRC looked into and blocked the hole that was found by an independent security company. They dealt with it honestly and very well as soon as fault was found.

Don't automatically link your fraud to the CRC one six months ago, at the time many, many people reported it and the common link was obvious.

Yes, someone tried to buy £600 worth of jewellery with my card details. First I knew was when the CC company asked if I could recall using my card earler in the day.

My account was closed and a new card issued, but I hadn't been shopping at Chainreaction, my details could have been pinched months ago.

It's know that some one at Wiggle was caught stealing card details but I have never heard of the same thing being afoot with CRC - if it was going on someone would have noticed before now.

They did. In March.

I bought a bike a few weeks ago through CRC, but paid via Paypal  There's always rumours of various online retailers not being as secure as they should, so I always use Paypal if possible & never had a problem
