Careera Zelos or B'Twin Triban 500? Or any better fast, flat road bike?

Hello  So I am looking for something fast. I did research and find out those two as close as my budget and my requires. I had for 2 years Careera Virtuoso, than few car crashes and its finished. Then i bought from a good friend a CANONDALE CAAD 10 (Which was like brand new, and unfortunately didn't made me happy, as i had to take care of it more that i could take care of my miss's. So, surprisingly (sure it was super light, crazy good quality things on it and i felt all of them) but it was slower than my old careera virtuoso. I know its funny £1500 compared to £270... Any way, i decreased on the budget, sold Caad, and looking now for new, fast and strong road bike under 350£... My question is Careera Zelos can be faster than Triban 500, as most reviews says that Triban is more to help with mountains, but i cycle through central London every day 20 miles, no days off for past 4years, and there are flat roads most of it, so I need something fast. Please advice

The Triban trumps the Carrera.

The triban 300 series or source a red triban 3 off eBay.

If going second hand you could also have a Giant Defy, specialised Allez, possibly a diverge, boardman comp/ road sport as these should be in your budget.

Alternatively if you want new at £350 you can expect basic but functional bikes with Claris or if your lucky sora on. I recommend Boardman road sport or triban 300 .
