Yes it's been given to me by the owners son who wanted to give it to someone who would spend the time making it look good again
His father was a keen cyclist so may explain the campag chain set
It's got a really nice saddle which I think is a San Marco concor??
And I can remember the handlebars being cinelli

That is the same bike do we all think early 80s
The son remembers it from about then
If it rides as well as it looks then I may have to get rid of my other Carlton criterium

There was a Raleigh Clubman in the 80's which I guess would be fairly similar ?
I only mention it because I have the "lady"/mixte version. Beautiful red finish, 531, centre pulls and Campagnolo 980 gears (lovely bike).

Had a very quick look at it but no sign of a frame number nothing on bottom bracket or seat post and can't see one on rear drop out either
Will there be one ????

Bottom bracket or underneath the seat bolt on the down tube. The stampings on the seat tube were very light and difficult to see when brand new.
