Hi,
I started to sand down my frame yesterday (preparing for a long overdue repaint) when I noticed the where the frame number should be I just have an "X".
It's under the bottom bracket and the bike is a Carlton International.
There is no evidence that an old number has been ground off.

Does anyone know why I don't have a frame number?

My carbon bike doesn't have a frame number stamped under the BB. Whilst servicing the BB I noticed a sticker with a (presumably) serial / frame number INSIDE the bottom bracket area.

Found it! On the rear drop out.
Thanks for your help.

The number is 222425 I'm hoping it isn't a rare, expensive one as I've just sanded all the original paint and stickers off! I'm guessing it's not because the lugs are simple, no fancy work.
