The XX was the only one I didn't get, because I've never heard of them. I also thought the thing under the mug was a soggy biscuit, so Limp Bizkit?
As for 90's bands, most of them are still going!

I didn’t get pearl jam, as the drawing was confusing. I couldn’t make out what it actually was. But I can see it now.
And the trees one was too obscure for a UK audience.

OK, doing an image search I've found a number of places online that are debating this. It seems the consensus is that I have two wrong, both of which @Ming the Merciless had correctly identified with bands I'd never heard of.

So Screaming Trees was correct, not U2. The other wrong answers was XX, whilst this is a 90's band the correct answer was Matchbox XX, yep another band that has completely passed me by!
