That explains why my original Cortina tyres were 5.2 x 13 whilst their radial replacements were 155 (or whatever) x 13

My ex Mrs's landy tyres were inches width as well as diameter. I'd though they were radials but they may not have been: Avon something or other semi-offroad tread. "Traction mileage" maybe

What on Earth is the 'metric set' ?

Is it concerned with the set of possible metrics for example those metrics pertaining to General Relatively
