This is exactly the reason that AgeUK have a Digitial Champion) programme ( wish they would change the damn name!!!)

I keep coming across people who are totally confsed by firms wanting everything done via an app and they only have one of those "phones for old people"
which are generally old anyway - and when they were new ran a doctored version of an out of date version of Android!

I spent an age downloading one of those damn things, or rather my daughter did for me, only to get right through the process to receive a message saying the car park is free today.

There was no cash option. There wasn't even a phone number to see if I could take cash somewhere.
