I do miss my Saab.
Bought it for £2.5k @ 10 years / 70,000 miles and scrapped it @22 years and quarter million miles. If my local Saab specialist hadn't packed it in, I'd have likely stumped up £5k or whatever to fix it all up nicely

My Honda Civic is OK to drive and not much slower, but not nearly as comfortable, never mind as luxurious, albeit does use 30% less petrol and is easier to park in our cramped street. The Honda had 120,000 miles on it when I got it, and done another 20k since

There are many car parks nowadays which don't have a cash option.

Most of them in the UK you can still pay by card, you don't HAVE to use the app, but machines taking cash are becoming quite rare IME.
