Hi

Can any identify from the picture what the largest cassette I can fit using the current set up

It's currently 11-25 and I would like a more Hill friendly set up

Partly depends what you have up front. If it's a compact double you should be fine with 28 at the back. I have a triple and find I need a longer cage rear for my 28.

28 is fine for pretty much anything , i run a 50/34 with an 11-28 on my weekender and tbh i hardly use the small ring.

According to the information I can find, the Rival will accept sprockets up to 27T, so your 11-25T should be fine.

Shift onto the largest cog at the back. For every 2mm clearance between the top jockey and the largest cog an additional tooth would fit. Since you have a 25T you are looking for more than 6mm clearance. If it is not there adjusting the B screw will help. The chance of a 27T spec mech not being able to take 28T is very small.

You would need a new, longer chain too.
