Cassette hub to fixed.

I can't find the thread in which someone asks if it's possible to convert a cassette hub to fixed, but I think I've found the answer in this:-

I dont know, can you
I dont think you can, because the sprocket wont go on normally.
On one that takes a screw on block you can, but on one where the block goes on you cant can you?

similar to this method but finding the teeth/ratchet mech inside the freehub and welding that. Never done it but assume its possible

Ooooh right.
Well, i think that would be more complicated, but i guess it would work
Not seen it that method before
