Cassettes and spacers. Where to put them?

The cassette came with 2 spacers. Looking at the picture, I don't know what to do with the one on the left side of the picture (thinner spacers). It is 1 mm thick.

I've put the other one (3mm thick - right side of the picture) on between 16T and 14T cogs. Then I put the 12T and 11T (both has on of the side wider working as spacers) and finally the lockring.

Where does the spare ring go?

Sorry. Yes it is shimano 8 speed cassette.

The thin ring will be the washer which goes onto the freehub first then the rest of the cassette slots on.
