Cat stuff.... 😻

The same cat now 😀

All Spring and Summer I've been feeding a Great Tit family, along with other small birds. Twice a day the growing family have visited for peanuts.

Today there is one less. Greta the kitten managed to catch and eat one of them.

And this is her ... watching herself watching cat television.

And yes, I know my desk needs tidying.

Ooops!

The much-missed Madam Lexi emptied out, over the course of three days, a whole pheasant nest. And yes, she ate *all* of them.

Had a lovely day stewarding at the joint Russian & Korat shows. Cuddled some lovely cats, and also won two of the classes in the photo show. Madam Boo is enjoying the hand-knitted toys I bought her off one of the club stalls.

I did get bitten - cat took a chomp at my wrist, but thanks to my long-sleeved cotton drill white coat, she escaped being issued with a biting certificate. Still felt it though.

Good night everyone .

Just about to put someone else’s cat out .😀

You wouldn't be that cruel, surely? He looks PURRfectly comFURtable there, be a shame to disturb him.

Look we didn’t trust our own cats enough to leave them in over night. ( unless for medical reasons ) So there is no way I am leaving someone’s else’s cat in . 😂😂😀 As lovely as he is . 😀

Two of the cats of one of our neighbours who does cat rescue have effectively living round ours for a couple of years now. One, being feral never comes in for more than a few minutes, usually at feeding time, but the other often spends the odd night or so in our house.
Main reason for their presence is that the neighbour often has a lot of young cats at hers and these two being at their proper home is the equivalent of being in a house full of noisy teenagers - !
Neither bother our lot, so life proceeds according to cat rules - !

Madam Boo, being a strictly indoor cat, would like to raise a point of order on the matter...

Very sadly we lost our much loved and photographed Molly this morning, aged 16. She suddenly became ill, we think probably a stroke, and died after a few minutes. Quite a shock.

She sat on my lap for a while yesterday evening. Here she is in the garden last week :

Oh no. I'm so sorry. What a shock losing her so suddenly but at least for her it was quick.

Very sad losing a much loved pet.

16 was a very good age, though it doesn't make the loss any easier to bear. 😪
