Wonderful thread. I enjoyed reading the write-up. I guess we all must remember that when riding a bike, please make way for a mother and her 2 kids in the mornings looking for that rare parking spot near to their favourite coffeeshop and doing a sudden left when they do find a spot. And lets not forget how Safe Cycling Australia monumentally screwed up the very people it supposed to help.
"We screwed up, we admit it. We are gutted this morning at the cretinous woman's actions which were shared by us at the request of a close contact. That person who forwarded this report to us is also deeply upset at the lies and deliberate evasiveness of the woman who made this complaint, and we hope that if she did indeed report this to the police, that they deal with her appropriately for wasting their time.

Could someone please read this out to me, I actually can't be arsed. No disrespect to OP.
I hope it is because the Cyclist has taken legal action.
