Borrow Granville's till from 'Open All Hours'. You'll still find fingers in the till but not attached to anything!
Years ago, friend of mine worked fo a High Street Retailer
They had a rule of no more than £500 in the till impossible on a busy Saturday


One weekend there was an inspection team from Head Office who noted that there was significantly more in the till and decided to take some money to make the point


The young girl on the till saw the hand and slammed he till shut breaking two fingers
 
On a more serious note, please remember that at this stage this is only an allegation and not a proven fact

It needs to be investigated fully and formally by the company.

The best advice would be to contact the company's fraud advice or similar team defending on the on the size of the company.

You need to be very careful nothing you say can come back to you in the long term.

Your employer should have a whistleblower or other similar policy in place read this and use it
