hi i am thinking of buying either a cateye stealth 50 or garmin edge 200. they both retail about the same price and as far as i can see the only difference is u dont get live mapping on the cateye but are able to see it all once hooked up to computer after the ride.

has anyone one have any input to help in my choice.

thanks

Cateye has ANT+ capability, so you can use heart rate and/or cadence sensors.

Garmin 200 does not have this functionality, you need to go up to the 500 for this.

I've never used the Cateye, but have both a Garmin 200 & 500 which I am very happy with.

Does anyone know which of the edge models have the turn by turn function. I know the 800 has it but what about the likes of the 500 /510 ?
All have it but the (discontinued 205/305) and the 200/500/510 have bread crumb mapping ( a series of dots to follow, no background), whereas the (discontinued 605/705) and the 800/810 have background maps (streetmap behind).
