Cateye Strada Question..

I have just got myself the above bike computer which has 8 funtions.
Question..
After much thought I want to use the Kms speed, Trip, and Average Speed and thats all, can I just set these 3 funtions without the others?

The only thing you can set on it is date/time, units km/mi, wheel circumference in mm. The rest are not 'settable' and you cannot get rid of them so you have the cycle through them in a loop.

Just out of interest do you know if any of these computers allow seperate settings.. because I could exchange the unit as I've not put it on the bike yet.

None of the Cateye range allow a customisable interface, you get what they give you.

If you want to be able to choose then I think (and others will be able to confirm) that your best bet is going Garmin which allow you to choose what to display but they are quite a lot more money as they also contain GPS features.

Thanks I will check out the Garmin but I'm thinking its more than I will want to spend..
