Cateye velo 5 reed switch

Could anyone please advise if they have successfully replaced a damaged reed switch on a Cateye wired pickup and if so what specification was it.
I've checked for continuity throughout the wiring and all is well except for the reed switch and for a quid I might as well have a go at soldering a new one in.

Well I took a punt on a reed switch on eBay that looked the same as the broken one and it worked a treat. I took the broken one off and soldered the new one in. The switches were only £2 for 5 so I've got some spares if it goes again.
