cattle grids

Cattle grids are not a problem in the least - except I did come across a load somewhere or other where the bars were at right angles to the normal orientaion

ha! who knew that riding over a cattle grid could be so scientific. i am actually quite amazed at how much thought some of you have put into this

if you've come off on one you'd know why. They hurt. (Wet, circular hollow section, uphill)

I've always just gone over them perpendicular to the bars, out of the saddle with weight off the front wheel, freewheeling, at whatever speed I'm travelling at on the road. Touchwood has worked so far!
