He once wore the red number of "most combative rider" in the tour.

Normally that's a consolation prize for some poor sap from the breakaway who got caught just before the line, not to a sprinter who is normally given an armchair ride by his team to the finish.

But on stage 13 of the 2013 Tour OPQS got it as a team. That was a really memorable stage. Crazy riding in crosswinds. In the end Cav beat Sagan fairly easily in the Sprint but it was a mega dramatic day.

I remember that stage. Cav had to do an intense sprint to catch the echelon as it split. Spectacular ride by him.

We were there! I was super pregnant and we sat there for hours to bag our spot. It was totally worth it, we screamed our heads off!

It's more the stuff like causing a crash but refusing to put his hands up and apologise or lying about sitting up in a sprint and denying a team mate the yellow jersey sort of thing i had in mind.
