I'll be up in Perth this Sat and Sun and hanging about due to the provision of taxi services for two of my sons. I've got to drop them off at 10am and pickup at 4pm so i thought that i'd repeat the CC Ecosse run North out of Perth from the last 2 years as it's a great route.

Garmin link

The first year we did this Techmech organised it. Last year it was just Scoosh, Sleekitcollie and myself. But the quality made up for the lack of quantity

It's 40 miles and not too hilly (one wee steep bit after fording the burn at Little Glenshee) and will probably take about 3 hours bike time at ambling pace. It starts/finishes on the cycle path North out of Perth.

Meeting place : North Inch Community Campus/St. John's Academy (new school with lots of parking). Near the big Asda and adjacent to the North Inch park by the river.
Food: Last year we stopped at the pub at Pitcairngreen, the year before it was a wee pub in the middle of nowhere.
Time 10:15/10.30am start

Date: I can do Sat or Sun (or both!) if the weather plays fair.

Anyone interested and available?

I can do either day - and it's a great route with excellent company last year.

We didn't get lost either !!!

I would encourage many CC folk to come for this one - it's a really good CC Forum Ride.

If you are new, haven't managed to come on a ride yet or are unsure of riding in a group or on the roads - this is the one for you !

Hooray - some company :bravo: I thought i was going solo on this one.

At the moment Saturday has the better weather forecast, so i'll provisionally go for Sat.

As Scoosh says it's a fab route - come if you can.

I'm back on the bike after an injury-enforced absence, but my sister's visiting from La France so I'll be in St.Andrews looking for fossils, followed by fish and chips in Anstruther!

The bloke who owns the chippy in Anstruther now has a sit-in chippy (The Fish tail) in St Andrews, near to Tesco on Market Street.

Enjoy

i can poss make it on sunday but will not know till friday , so if you want to do it on sat go ahead as im not 100% for sunday , superb route , really enjoyed it last year .

The weather at the moment says Saturday is to be the better day of the weekend. So since you're not sure about Sunday anyway, i'll go with Saturday. OK for you Scoosh?
