Here's some strange looking contraptions I pictured whilst on holiday in Sutherland:

Didn't try it, but its very exposed so I wouldn't have thought so. You can still use the original road down through Millau though.

So you cannot walk across it either?

If those are what i think they are(look like it, just different colour) then they had them at the Get cycling show here in Nottingham.
Very very smooth scooters, could easily just roll around on those things
When i was in Switzerland, there were a few like that(some had plastic wheels though) locked up in bike stands, so i guess that local people used them to get around instead of bikes.

Whilst sunbathing I was constantly doused in water and rolled back into the sea. I had a Whale of a time...
