Decathlon in Surrey Quays.

Just a short hop southbound on the Overground from Dalston Junction.

You might want some knee or leg warmers to go with bib shorts as it’s going to be well under 15deg this weekend.
Certainly decathlon a good shout, Evans another option

Hi all,

What's the best place to buy cheap-ish cycle clothing in Central London or Hackney? I want to get a long-sleeve jersey and bib.

I'm joining the 100km Strade Bianche di Essex this Saturday.

Thanks
thanks for the link - I did wonder about the idea of strade bianche in essex (have ridden a fair few in southern italy) - confirmed my idea that it's rather more likely to be strade mud/e.
(am not aware of any real strade bianche in this country - few and far between I reckon).

yep - get youurself to Decathlon Surrey Quays - you can wheel your bike around with you.

Thanks all,

I went to Decathlon in Surrey Quays and got everything I needed.

I actually missed the start time of the 'Strade di Essex' and joined a 100km club ride instead, which was brilliant as I was not prepared for that level of mud. The roads were muddy as it was!

A great day out and my longest ride. Here is the route on Strava (I started recording the ride 2km in as I had to catch up with the group)
