Remeber that a chain tool isnt just needed to fix a brioken chain, they are also required when fitting a new chain, even if it comes with a quick link, as the new chain is often too long, and has to be shortened.

+1 to @Beebo for home & the with low price of an adequate one, I have a dedicated chain tool in my workshop kit as well as my multiool bike kit one.
