As long as I breathe, I attack.
I know i know i can search
Anyone have experiences with dog fangs ?
Looking at a chain catcher but looking at these over ones that involve undoing the front mech ( braze on) for simplicity , chain has only dropped twice in over 2 years and both in high torque situations so i was wondering if the dog fangs are ok ?
Would be for my team carbon

I think Dog fangs are OK if you've got a circular seat tube of the correct diameter, I bought one for my PX carbon and found it wouldn't fit, so ended up with the other type that fits on the front mech.

If they fit they work well. I fitted one on the best bike to stop any paint damage, just in case !

I had one on a previous bike - I'm not sure if it ever saw use in anger but they're innocuous enough.

I've got them fitted on 2 bikes and I've never dropped a chain. I've no idea whether that's due to them doing their job, or the fact that my gears are set up correctly.

For the price, it's worth having one
