I'm guessing the chain on my Pinarello fixed is a pretty standard affair. It's joined by a elongated circlip. Is this circlip a reusable part (I should think it is) or does it need to be renewed if the chain is removed?
Cheers

Re-use IMO. If you're changing the chain though you will need to know if the old is 1/8 or 3/32 inch to makes sure you get the correct one.

Sounds like the standard joining link on a 1/8th inch chain; re usable until it breaks, (occassionally); called a 'spring link'.
N.B. The open end should face backwards when on the top run of chain. (Make sure it is seated in the grooves.)
