Can anyone advise if these need replacing? I fitted a new chain, and it slipped, so I assumed I needed a new cassette. But when I looked at the chainring it seemed worn to me, can anyone confirm? Thanks

Thanks. Any suggestions as to where to get a replacement online? Will any shimano chainset with the same size rings fit? I only seem to be able to find 10 speed versions, mine is 9 speed, does this matter?
Many thanks again

Which chainset is it?

You should find that any chainrings from shimano fit with the same BCD (bolt circle diameter), you will need, outer, middle and inner if you wish to replace all three. Outer and middle will be 130mm, inner should be 74mm (see here http://bit.ly/1UgxnJ4). You should be able to get them online easily enough (SJS cycles has a good search tool for this, far better than e.g. wiggle).
See below for some possibilities.

Middle: http://bit.ly/1YOttxK
Inner: http://bit.ly/1OkT2jf

Ah, so I only need to change individual rings? I didn't realise that, thanks. Should save a few quid

If you use a 9 spd chain on a 10spd it will not be so good as the 10spd chain is narrower. You will find it is cheaper it buy the whole chainset rather than individual rings - you need Sora which is 9 speed

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but why sora? My current set up is tiagra and its nine speed.
Thanks

Ah, I see. Many thanks
So if I buy a sora triple, with the the same size cogs, it'll just fit in?
Sorry for all the daft questions
