when i have the tyre name next to hole it helps looking for the damage to tyre or whatever created the flat, with regard to chain wear, i replace chains at the start of each spring once the winter riding is over

I know that running three or four chains at once makes theoretical sense, but it's always struck me as a bit OCD. Not quite like having the tyre makers name next to the valve hole, but up there.

Indeed! I did this when I fitted new rim tape, now it looks much better. Then again Im definatly OCD as I get annoyed at the posters in the conference room not having an equal gap between them :angry:
