Chain tugs

Ok guys i`m now the owner of a wrongster/funster/langster (delete applicable) and I`m now wondering how to get some accurate chain tension on this thing ! I believe with the old style Langster there were no stainless steel inserts in the dropouts so fitting chain tugs was straight forward, is it a case of having to remove these now to retrofit chain tugs ?

Aren't the stainless steel inserts to stop track nuts chewing up your alloy track ends? I don't see why you would have to remove them (assuming you can)

Probably the reason for fitting them, it was just to enable some way of applying even tension on back wheel.
