^^^We’ll know soon enough……..
I can tell you now that the bit about binding to the metal to form a self lubricating layer is out right made up guff.

With all the dust and grime about it is not easy to keep the drive and chain clean. I clean my chain etc ( with a thin oil) after every two or three rides, under 60 miles and the cloth is always black, I would`nt expect anything else. My mech is quiet, it`s just the wind noise I can hear !
You've convincing me of the advantages of immersive waxing; not that I need convincing.
For comparison - and clearly there are loads of things to take into account and this is far from 'scientific', etc., but still, just for fun - here's a piece of kitchen paper which I've just rotated my chain through three or four times. This chain has covered 340km since last waxing; all in the dry. It's not clean, but it's cleaner than your cloth. And it's not been wiped at all in those 340km (most remiss of me, but it's soooo dry outside!).

Thanks for your thoughts ! I’m not surprised. In what you experience - and the fact Revolube isn’t ’Gods Gift’ to lubrication 🤣
BUT: Fail, Flounder or Flourish - I’ll not be disappointed per-se. I’ve never been one to take anyone’s experience on face value as such. And would much rather have a go myself. And this peaked my interest - and i indeed got off my ass, off the sidelines and gave it a go !
The build up is definitely (More than 50%) less. And it’s nothing like as greasy / thick / claggy.
More rides required to experience the full spectrum of scenarios…👍
Way too much analysis going on here.
Oil chain, go ride. Wipe occasionally with a rag
