Changing a tube on carbon wheels.

Looking at my Specialized Roubaix Elite, it seems to have carbon wheels, or at least not made of metal and I was wondering, when the time comes and I have to put a new tube in, can the wheels be damaged by using tyre levers, as you do on aluminium wheels?

Yes, brand new, but just wondered as I was cleaning it yesterday.

Those wheels are aluminium with a matt finish - just makes them look a bit like carbon ones

They just feel like plastic when you touch them but if they are aluminium then no problem.

Anyway no different changing tubes on carbon to alu.

The Campagnolo tyre levers make life easier, I use them to get Marathon Plus tyres on and off deep section carbon rims on my Brompton, they're very wide to spread the load out..
