Changing from 28 to 32 cassette

Changing from a 28 tooth to a 32 cassette and the high is 12 tooth ,old one is 11.
Will I need to change the mech. to a long cage ?
Shimano group set .

Which Shimano group?
You may get away with adjusting the B-limit screw, or a RoadLink might do the trick.

I've managed to fit a 32t cassette on a short cage mech with a compact chainset. Many will tell you it can't be done but it worked fine for me.
