Hi there,
Ive got a couple of days until i begin my charity bike ride from Burton - IOW - Burton.
Id just like to say a big thanks to everyone that helped answer my questions here on cycle chat, and helped to put me straight on a few things.
I may have passed some of you as i sailed past EMA and Donnington Park the last few months.
I have chalked up 600 miles in training and i am feeling very positive about my little adventure.
I will leave Woodville (Burton) 6am Saturday17th Aug. I booked a Travlodge in Reading for my first stop, so i will be doing 112miles on the first day, then 60 miles on day 2. Day 3 will take me around IOW. Day 4 will be 100 miles from Gosport to Buckingham. Day 5 Bucks - home.
I have set up a donation page at www.justgiving.com/charity-cycle-andy with info about why i am doing this ride. I have also put links to my garmin connect page too.
So far i have raised just under £500 for my local Pre-School, and I am very humbled by everyone's generosity.
So thanks again to you all and i will let you know how i get on.
