We had our 50th anniversary recently.
In my speech I dedicated a Chas and Dave song to Mrs Dave......then got the DJ to play There Aint No Pleasing You.
Fortunately she saw the funny side of it.

Apart from all their 'Rockney' stuff (some great, some cheesy) I absolutely LOVED their covers album "That's What Happens" a few years back.

This song "When Two Worlds Collide" is brill imho.

He played with some good bands in the late 60's, Cliff Bennet and the Rebel Rousers, and The Outlaws a bit earlier with Richie Blackmore. He was very talented. Shame.
