Went over there this arvo - you can walk in free to the bit where the "Limmo Partys" do their stuff - basically opposite the grandstand.

Rode there at 11.00. Traffic solid for 5 miles. Main sight - at least 30 people openly pissing in the road - including woman, having presumably got so pissed up in their cars/chavvy limmos since 6 this morning (the Humvee stretch slag wagon seems to be the vehicle of choice) they couldn't control themselves.

Inside, the sights were just stunning. Pissed up flab, shreiking and swearing at the tops of their voices, and the blokes just as bad. Tits more or less out (right out in more than one case), fag on, swigging wine from the bottle, walking barefoot in a zig zag was popular. Saw 3 minges in an hour on account of not bothering to wear knickers/ sit with legs closed. No wonder they keep the cameras well away from that bit.

Ladies' Day in today's Britain. Makes you feel really proud.

Seems like I got there a day too early. I rode past yesterday at about 12:30
Just saw some genteel fizz sipping going on next to a load of parked coaches. Maybe I was just a bit too early for the public urination display.

Slapper's day is where it's at. I was reliably informed that everyone normal keeps away now, and goes on another day - I can see why. Or pays top dollar for enclosure of course.

Are you a regular there Bigtwin , you certainly know when and where to go.

Did anybody offer you a drink ? I got a slight yearning for a glass of champagne as I rode past yesterday but as I was about half way through a 100 k ride it's probably better that nobody tempted me.

Anyway , I've pencilled it in my diary for next year !

I went a few times to the posh end as my sister used to do the accounts for the events and I got in free, but she doesn't now - selfish. Now, my business partner lives nearby, so her and a couple of ex colleagues of ours walked over - she is very into spotting what they are wearing and all that rancid old bollicks. Frankly, I know nothing about racing and care about as much if I'm honest, but I suspected slaggage antics, and I wasn't disappointed at all. There is nowhere to buy drink over that side - they're not stupid - but there was so much chav buffet about you could have filled yer boots, if you could have stomached the clientelle. Which I suppose I could have if I'd got a couple of stiffners in the bank early. And wasn't wearing a T shirt and shorts, as I was this arvo.

You can walk in at the Kennel Avenue gate, and you can park down around there too if needs be.
